Accessory power comes on after arming alarm with key fob

Vehicle is an 02 explorer. When I get out of the truck and press the lock button on the key fob twice after a few seconds the dash will light up, heater will start blowing, and pretty much everything that comes on with the key forward works. After a few seconds it will go off and come back on sometimes just 2 times sometimes more.

Anybody have any idea what's causing this? I'm also having a issue with the door indicator staying illuminated when the truck is on if that has anything to do with it.

Any help is appreciated!

There is a known problem, which I might have now but have not checked on it yet, where there are some wires going through the drivers door into the pillar panel -- and some of those wires get cut by opening and closing the door. Search this site for "door ajar" == the problem seems to be inside the boot. From what I understand, more than one wire can get cut.
