add-a-leaf question!!!

I have a '97 2 door that i'm looking to do an add-a-leaf to. I bought this kit here:

Can I still use this kit on a 2 door? I just read on another explorer site that add-a-leafs don't work on 2 door models, unless you get a 4 door leaf pack first. The springs should be here tomorrow so the sooner I get an answer the better. thanks.

It won't work on 2 doors, since you have a monoleaf in the rear. You will need to swap in a 4 door leaf pack first. A few people have tried it, but it didn't work. You could PM kert0307, I believe he tried it.

Why exactly won't it work with a monoleaf? That may sound like a dumb question, but every other vehicle I've had in the past I've lowered, so this is going to be my first attempt at lifting a vehicle. Thanks for the help.
