If I put an add a leaf in the rear to level my truck out, will it put the pinion angle to far off with the shackles and cause a vibration?

did not bother my 2000 xlt and the back is up 3" with a shackle and leaf,..... not sure about the 95s

My add a leaf was 2". There are 1 to 1.5" as well. I think the 2" added 800Lbs capacity of tounge wieght to the explorer, where the smaller is around 400 I think. I could be wrong. One other thing, if you don't mind it riding like a truck, it is a nice upgrade. If you want to keep the softer ride, I would go with shackles.

I did have an issue with the clips holding the spring together and a buddy fabricated me a set.

no, it will not cause any issues.
plenty of folks on here that have AALs and shackles and did not have to adjust the pinion angle

Thanks just didnt want to go through the trouble in the cold of doing the AAL and have it vibrate like a coin operated bed!!!!!!

if anything, it'll probably get the pinion angle slightly closer to OEM specs since Explorers are known to have SAS (saggy-ass syndrome) :D
