My only concern for adding a single row under the grille is air flow blockage to the cooler. I imagine you could mock something up and monitor your IAT's and see if they fluctuate. I had a single row bar that fit perfectly in that spot but opted to put it on my side by side.

In all honesty, I doubt that it would adversely affect engine temps unless you live in a desert climate, but the only way to be certain would be to test it out.

I think I might mock something up and try it out. I know some of the eco f1's were sensitive to blocking air flow to the cooler and it did raise the temps a bit.
