A few questions.
1) who was the manufacturer for the 99 mach 1 head units? I know there were changes in manufacturers over time.
2) what is the output to the speakers and sub from the stock amp.
3) Replacing blow stock sub with this Pioneer TS-SW2002D2
How is the OEM sub connected to the amp? Proprietary connector, solder, skip on connections? My plan is to wire this in series for 4 ohm, thoughts?
4) So the CD changer in the armrest is toast. Originally I was found to take it our and hard wire an aux port and maybe a USB or power socket of the old wiring. I imagine though it will be hard to trick the stere into reading the mod. In the process of my research I have found a yatour bluetooth unit that seems as if it will replace one of the OEM plugs in the back of the head unit. How well do these work, and which plug is it?
