Adding heated side mirrors.

Our 1999 Mountaineer doesn't have heated mirrors. Would like to add them. Question: Is the wiring ready to go if I buy heated mirrors or do I have to add new wiring up to the mirrors? The mirrors we have just are powered and have puddle lights. Thanks. I also want to figure out a way to make the leather seats heated too.

From what I've seen, you will have to add the wiring for the heated mirrors. I am not 100% sure what that entails. I know it will have to tap into the defrost wiring.

For heated seats, do you want factory ones? If so, the connector will plug in, but i do not know if all of the wiring is there (a 30A constant hot and swtiched power) but if it is, the heated seat would be plug and play, although you may have to add a fuse.
