Adding Over Head Console?

Has anyone added a over head console to there Sport Trac? I have a 2003 sport trac and want to add one. Wondering if the wiring is already there even if it did come from factory with console? Any info on installation an finding a console would be a lot of help.

they did come from factory with one, but i doubt yours will have the wiring for it. you can go to a wrecker and find them in lots of 2nd gen explorers, as well as some 1st gen's as well and yes sport tracks. you will want to get the console, the bracket that it bolts to, i normally cut the wire harness as far down the a pillar as possible, the outside air temp sensor that is behind the drivers side head light, and get the plug for it as well. and if you can, cut the head liner around the console to just beyond the visors. that way you have a template so you know where to cut the hole when you install yours.
