I put this in TIRES SUSPENSION LIFT forum but I haven't gotten one reply and it's been 6 days.

I did a search and came back with more info then I could read in a week, but nothing on what I am about to ask. My question is can I add lift with bigger springs up front and a block in the perch in the rear? I want 3 more inches or so. I want to run 35's but I don't want a body lift. Is there any other ways to run 35's without body lift on a 5.5 superlift?

I also found people are running warrior shackles and F-250 spacers on the front for 2.5 inches of lift. Can I do that with the 5.5 superlift to make it 8 inches of lift?

Yeah, you can put shackles/spacers after the 5.5" lift. I don't know if you could fit 35's under it but that's what I hope to do when I want to put 35's on mine. You might have to do a little fender trimming as well. Might want to look into fender flairs as well...

holy response!! Finally someone answered me! thanks for the info. I want to put 35 thornbirds under it. Should I get longer coil springs or just spacers? The shackles add 2.5 right? Thanks for replying!!

Hey twotonex. I noticed you got 33x12.5's like me. Do you have extended radius arms? Do your front tires rub when you turn on the radius arms too?

Sorry about not responding, I had used the quick reply box so I didn't get an e-mail notification :)

I don't know any exact answers, but I'll try to help you out as much as I can...

To be honest, I don't know whether you should go with longer springs or spacers...either way I'd guess that you'd have to trim a little bit to make 35's fit. I believe the shackles add about 2-2.5" of lift so you should be ok on the rear, although it might be a little stuffed in there when flexing... Also why I suggested fender flairs, you could probably get a lot more clearance up front if you added those...

I do have the extended radius arms, but the tires don't rub on them. When I turn to the left, they rub on the sway bar, but that's about it. When installing my lift, Ryan Penner cut a little bit out of the fenderwell, and still a little bit poked out when I was in Moab. My suggestion is just get something that will trim the fenderwell and drive it a little bit first to see where it rubs...then cut whatever you need. Also, when on trails, carry a poket knife and if any little plastic things care to jump out at you and start rubbing, just cut it off. Thanks to Keven Cross for taking care of that for me...

Hope I helped. You might want to wait for a second opinion on the first questions...

35's you can run 35's with 8 inches of lift.... but yes you will have to do some trimming.... i did mine all myself.... heres what it looks liek with 35'sDead Link Removed

What mods did you get 8.5 inches of lift? I really don't want a body lift. I want to do the 35's with all suspension lift.

5.5 suspension.... 3" body..... remember the higher you go suspension... body roll becomes factor...

Okay, here it is:

Do either the 5.5 lift and fiberglass fenders and 35's

or

5.5in lift and hack the fenders nicely. 35's will fit

Oh, and thornbirds suck... not worth wasting the money on em

Can I buy fiberglass fenders or are they custom? Should I be scared of cutting my fenders up?:(

You can buy them from Perry's Fab and Fiber, they have an ad on the site, it's one of the ones up on top that cycles through... you shouldn't be scared of cutting the fenders, sometimes if you just cut a little bit off you'd never even be able to tell they were cut...
