Trying to decide if I should have my old rusty class II hitch sandblasted and repainted and install on my new to me 1993 aerostar or if I should find a new hitch class III that may or may not work with the full size spare which I intend on putting under the new van not a little donut. Thanks in advance for any help.
This is the fifth aerostar I’ve owned in the last 25 years. 1990-338K, 1992-112K, 1997-261K, 1995-209K, 1993-114K. The mechanic that looked at the last one I just purchased said it was like going back in time. No rust, interior looks mint and still has the factory headphones sealed in the packaging.
