NICE !!~!~!....
how wide are those tires.. they stick out alot.. but looks damm good. any rubbing? seems like there would be.. but im sure even if it does.. its worth it.. keep the mods coming
Thanks, tires are 12.5 with a offset on the rims. There was major rubbing. Had to trim plastic fenders and even cut metal but the look is worth it to me
The cavy isn't mine. It's my friends. IT's a really great car and faster then you'd think. He's putting all his $$$ into it. I'm still a camaro guy when it comes to sports cars though Any questions you got though, I can ask him for ya.
Everyone loves it. This is great I get a lot of compliments on the street too. Makes it all worht the time and $$$. The graphics were actually only 300 for everything and all custom. I think that is pretty good.
Hey, that's a nice looking truck! Of course I'm VERY partial to red 2-door Sports...
I was wondering if you moved the nerf bars up or something. Mine seem to be lower. What brand are they...mine say Westin on them and I'm not sure if they are factory or not. Also, I HIGHLY recommend putting on 4-door leafs. I got mine for $75 each at a local auto parts store. My mono-leafs were sacked out when I bought it.
Does yours ride stiffer in the front than in the back?
I have an add-a-leaf in the rear and it is still a little softer than the front...which was really surprising.
Those 12.50s look nice...I went with 33/10.50s because I have the smaller flares and didn't want them to stick out. I'm wondering why you had to do so much trimming? Did you lift the front a true 2". I made sure I got a full 2" and it seems to be working ok. With the shackles and add-a-leaf in the rear you need to get a full 2" up front or it looks funny.
Sorry to take up so much space. If your steering extension seems to bind a little, I extended my shaft and it doesn't bind at all. (search MASCMAN-there's a pic). Again, sorry to take up space but I just wanted to pass on some things that worked for me. It's weird, but I'm thinking of some silver flames...
His Nerf Bars are Factory Ford's, they cam stock on the Explorer. They Mount to the Body, so if you lift the Body, you lift the Nerf Bars.... Westin Nerf Bars are not Factory.
Yes 4-door leaf packs will be better for him, they gave me 1 1/4" of lift in the rear.
Mine are factory, the westins are aftermarket. Yea, I need 4dorr leafs but I told my self no more money into the truck except for a CB radio and tow hooks. My dumb @$$ brought a 200o honda cbr yesterday. I'm so broke and have bills comming. I'm $%^&$. lol. Later I'm gonna pout a post up for my old rims and tires in the for sale section. Factory 16 inch chromes with BFG long trials 255/75/16. If anyone is interested e-mail me please. I need the dough!
