Since I haven't delved into this car yet, is there any way to keep the reverse sensors when installing an aftermarket unit? I don't even know how it hooks up- the beeping comes through the stereo, does it not? I know it attenuates the sound, and most aftermarket allow for that, but how will I get the audio from the sensor to the new unit?

i changed my radio....didnt affect the sensors at all

Does the beeping not run through the radio? I hadn't paid much attention, I'll have to sniff it out when I get a chance.

i dont think it does, i dont even have a radio in my truck now and the sensor still work perfect

I played with it last night at work, the beeping comes from somewhere in the rear passengers' side corner. I have no clue where it is located.
