Hey all,
So my rear coils are snapped in a couple places (good thing I noticed it right before the winter and can't get the work done until spring huh?) and I'm thinking about suspension, but I need something that will last.
Can anyone give me long term feedback (50kmiles+ would be awesome)
Please tell me:
What brand & where you got it
Lift, Drop, or Stock height
Stiffer, softer, or stock stiffness
What Struts you are using
any other modifications (sways, lift/leveling blocks etc.)
I'll probably be holding on to this vehicle for a few more years at least, so I really want something I won't have to change again.
So far I'm thinking coilsprings.com for springs, explorer express helper bar in the rear, Stiffer struts all around (KYB maybe?)
I want stock height, or maybe lowered in the rear to level it out a bit. I want it stiffer all around. The rear will also have to cope with a class 3 hitch, and 475# "tongue" weight (really reciever weight) from a back rack with motorcycle on it, hence the helper spring back there, in addition to new springs and struts.
