OK, I have gotten the new o-rings and springs from the local NAPA dealer. In past threads, it has been said to replace pretty much every o-ring.
I am starting with the compressor. There are two metal lines on the back of it, bolted to the compressor. The Haynes manual warns of HIGH PRESSURE. My system has leaked completely empty (ie the system does not cycle when running). What do I need to do to depressurize?
I am going to replace the compressor, condensor, evaporator and accumulator o-rings as well as any in the lines. What is the location of the accumulator?
