I have a 1997 Explorer, 4 door, and I disconnected my batteryterminal in order to reset my idle or maybe I don't have something good to do. Everything seems OK. The engine started and sounds good. But then next morning on my way to work the car won't start. Seems like a dead battery at first but it's not! I have to press the by-pass (?) button located near the park brake pedal at the same time (not letting go of the by-pass button) turned the key to start. It's a pain top do this all the time. Another thing is that the "chirping sound is gone when I armed the alarm the same thing when I disarm it. The panick horn work when I press the panic button of the remote. The remote is OK. The battery is new. Pressing the remote unlocks and locks the doors. Help!!!!
