Any easy way to disconnect or permanently disable that very annoying stupid useless thing? I was thinking to pull the wires off the horns and run a direct feed from the horn button wire.

Factory or after market? If factory I sure would love to have the module to add a factory alarm to mine.

I wish someone that knows about this stuff would chime in here. You want to get rid of a factory alarm and I want to add a factory alarm. I wonder if it is as simple as removing a module.

I know it's somehow tied into the security module and keyless entry module I just don't know if it's a add on module or integrated which means a total security module swap. Since factory alarms were a dealer option I would think it would be a add on module.

BTW, your original idea won't work because the lights would still flash if the alarm is triggered and I doubt the vehicle would start while triggered too.
