Hey friends, haven't been hanging out as much but it reduces the amount of money I spend. Thought I'd just post something since it's been awhile.

Got my new puter yesterday.

Dell Dimension 4400
Pentium 4 1.8 ghz
512MB DDR SDRAM at 266MHz
2 40 gig hard drives (1 was mine)
24x cdr
48x rom
19 IN (18.0 Viewable,.26dp) M991 Monitor
64MB NVIDIA GeForce2 MX Graphics Card with TV-Out
Intellipoint Explorer mouse
and all the obvious goodies

It's a dark grey almost black setup.
Let me tell you....these cases are sweeeeet,
they are hinged to open like a book and
everything is like snap in and snap out.
There were spare brackets already mounted
to the inside walls to use for adding hardware.

2nd Dell I've owned now and total thumbs up.
Completley satisfied

Dude! I got another Dell!

thats ok I'm a geek. My laptops a little old school by todays standards but it still kicks ass. It's got a 15.1" monitor, DVD player, Pentium-III 650 processor, 128 megs of ram, and a 12 gig hard drive. Not much except then you gotta remember its like an inch thick and weighs about 7 pounds :). The "mods" I've made to it include an external CD Writer, a scanner, zip drive, and printer! Plus the palm PC that connects via the docking station! heh heh.

Thanks for the pic alec! I got a kick out of that.

I have come to the conclusion that we are all geeks here!(in a good way), at least those of us that spend as much time checking this site as I do, and I know there are a lot of you! If I could get myself to just running 3 computers at home maybe I would have more time on my hands!

mattadams - a 650Mhz laptop isn't all that old school. You should see some of the ones that come across my desk here at work. We still have a 486 laptop, that is still in use!

I need a basement so the wife will stop getting mad at all the parts lying around, my room is just too small!
