Do you know if i can hook up a chm-5600 (alpine) to a cda-7863 alpine cd changer using Alpine KCA130B , adapter. the cda-7863 takes an ainet capable changer, and i think it will work, what do you think? The chm is a m-bus i think and it looks like it will convert it to work....if so does anyone know if any local places might sell this product or am i going to have to order through ebay? let me know, thanx!

Oh yeah, the changer was created in 1995, and the headunit is a 2002, just to give you an idea

I'm not 100% sure, but I think since its all alpine youcould probablly get some kind of retrofit converter for it, maybe you can contact a local alpine dealer on the issue, they should have what you need.

nope

you cannot control a M-bus changer with an AI-net control head unit, the adapter is for controling an AI-net changer with a M-bus head unit. I have tried. Sorry
