Alternative path for 4.0 sohc chain rattle band aid

Has anyone seen this utube link and or have comments.

The author is basically saying he cannot get oil pressure to the front tensioner so he is routing pressure from the oil gage port to the galley plug next to the tensioner.

Do we know what the galley plug thread requirement is ? What is the oil gage port thread requirement.

First I have seen this video but its very interesting and makes sense. Keep us posted if you get more information.

It sounds to me that he is saying 1/4 MPT at the sending unit (where you put the tee) and 1/8 MPT in the head next to the screw in pre-tensioner. If it works it's better than a band aid.
