I have the alternator loose from the motor but I can not get it out of the vehicle. The space is to tight to come out. I took the air conditioner compressor out. Any suggestions on what else to take loose to get it out?

Found your thread during a search. I am trying to get my AC compressor out. Was wondering if the alternator had to come out. There is a third stud on top of it between the compressor and the alternator. I cannot see it, but by feel, it seems like there is not nut. I have the cooling fans out, and the wheel well shroud. Looks like if I pull the windshield washer reservoir out I may be able to reach in over the frame rail. Wondering how you got that upper stud off.
