Alternator!

Where does the Black/yellow striped wire on the back of the alternator connect to? The solenoid? And does the battery cable have to be on the same bolt? What does the letters S, M and I mean on the solenoid? Thanks!
 






should go to the same post on the solenoid as the bat POS cable. i don't show a BK/Y on the diagram just a BK/O.


S - where the lead from the ignition swt START attaches. R/LB

I - Ign hot when start(if i remember correctly) normally not used.

M - i would have to see the soleniod.
