My Explorer seems to not like Altitude changes. When I went to Colorado, I kept getting codes for lean and rich on bank one. I reset the computer in Colorado and the codes came back almost immediately. The codes stayed until I got back to Arizona, about 200 miles from home, the check engine light went out and stayed out. I cant recreate the problem here. I have been unable to determine what is causing this problem. It could be whatever part senses the air density coming into the engine, it could be the part that controlls the mixture, or it could be the part that senses the final result. I think its the O2 sensors, as I only get the error on bank 1. If it were a part that was controlling the mixture going into the engine, then I would get codes on both banks, right?

Any ideas on this would be appreciated as I dont want to start throwing parts at it and replacing things that are still in working order.

Thanks
Steven
