Hey all,
I have a 2007 Explorer. Last week, I treated myself and had it detailed.
I noticed when I was driving home that my most of the statistics on the dashboard were reset. Fuel Economy, Trip A, Trip B, etc. I thought for some reason maybe the battery was disconnected. Odd. The next day I noticed the ambient temperature no longer worked. It read "75" and would never change.
So, I ripped the grill apart found the sensor and reseated it, thinking maybe it was loose. It wasn't. So, I bought a new one, thinking it was bad. Well, the new one doesn't work either. Still reads "75". So, as a measure of testing, I pulled the battery. Well, I noticed that the result was significantly different than after the detailing, so I'm not positive they didn't pull the battery. anyway, my ambient temperature doesn't work, and I don't know what else to try! Any advice would be really appreciated. I don't want to put the grill back in place, but eventually I will need to in order to drive..
Thanks!
