Amp wiring how many feet of wire from the battery to the back of the 3rd row were you hide the jack for the replacement tire

Well a pretty known fact about audio stuff is that most amp kits that you buy usually have 17 feet of power wire in them. I personally dont like the amp kits, id rather just buy quality wire imo. I actually used 20 feet because i have a capacitor so i needed a little extra plus id rather get a little more incase something happens so 20 ft for me was perfect. RCA wires i would just get around 16 or 17 feet, these can be like a foot shorter becuase they travel less distance than power wire.

i like this kit is kicker 4 gauge 20 ft, i have two amps one is 400rms for speaker and a mono 200 rms for the sub

I went to a local audio shop and got 24ft of 4guage for $20... I know the guy that works there but still I think its only like $1 or $1.25/ft around here normally. That kicker wire is way to expensive... Correct me if I am wrong but you are just paying for the name that wire is not really any different than any other wire.

I'd say you're totally correct.. It's the same deal with "Monster" HDMI/AV cables - paying many times more with no tangible difference in quality.. As long as the cable and RCA's have solid shielding, there's no point in paying more for a fancy name brand.. I got a complete 8g kit on ebay shipped for like $30 and ended up bringing it to an install place anyways.. They had huge spools of cable there and probably charged me the same price for the install even tho I brought my own stuff.

i keep checking and all the kits i find cheap everyone says it sux cuz it would be more plastic than cooper cheap quality wires

can someone give me the name of a cheap good quality wire that is 4 gauge not 6 gauge trying to pass has 4

but i dodn't only want wires i need power blocks etc because i have 2 amps and some RCAs

not every brand is high price cuz the name it can also be the quality

When i went that route, i bought a cheap kit power/RCA both 16'.
Had to spice in a couple of feet for the power. It ran from the big fuse box along the firewall and entered by the passengers feet, along pass side to the center of the jack compartment. about 20' would have been nice.

RCA at 16' reached from the back of radio along the same path but had no slack.

there might have been a better way . . . .

Check out Knuconceptz.com. They,ve got great quality stuff without the high prices. I did my "Big Three" with their wiring. Very pleased.
