Live in S.E. Penna. Army 71-74, Crew Chief on H-Mod. Huey.
Rail Road Signalman,12yrs. Then to Plumbers Union, on to beeing self employed. Semiretired HVAC / Plumbing. Surf Fishing.

Had 91 Sport a while back.:roll: Have a 03 XLT 6, 4+4,45,000 at presant.

The above mentioned Rick Gerhold was a Army chopper repairman in Viet Nam. Not sure what division or exact time frame that he was there (will try to find out though). He's my wife's uncle. Used to own Gerhold's Auto Sales in Gilbertsville (now a Rita's Ice store).

if you mean up front in the helo, no. backseat. wheels up heels up all the way to the LZ.
But if you mean "the front", then yeah. I saw combat in mosul, al basrah, baghdad, umm qasr, Nasiriyah, and plenty of random iraqi neighborhoods. And in afghanistan, lots of fun in:
Jalalabad
Kabul
Ghazni
Kandahar
Bagram
I was in those two places for the majority of the last eight years.
