Annoying Buckle Seat Belt Chime

Is there a way to remove the buckle seat belt reminder chime without hacking anything up? Even when the ignition is in the on possition and in park it still chimes.

Look in your Owners Guide under 'Belt Minder'. You can turn that on or off.

I don't know if this still works but on some E350/450 vans we have at work we simply unpluged the wires from the buckle. That seemed to stop the seatbelt reminder chime.
