My 2003 Explorer started acting up yesterday. 1-2 upshift is fine, but the 2-3 has the typical late shift that seems to be common with DTC P0745. 3-4 and 4-5 upshifts are also ok. It does act a little goofy when downshifting sometimes though. Im not getting any other codes besides that one, so what are the chances its just the solenoid block that needs to be replaced and nothing else? It would seem me that the intermediate band is not broken since it still goes into 3rd.
