Another heated seat issue thread, changing the seat fan?

I have a 2012 limited with the heated/cooled seats. I've noticed that my passenger seat gets alot warmer than the driver seat (still not great but definitely a difference) I've also noticed that when the passenger seat is on you can hear the fan whirring away where as with the driver seat not so much, thinking maybe the fan or the heater element is on the way out and wondering if anyone has changed these parts?

I have not seen a thread where someone has changed the fan, only discussions on changing the filters under the seat.

remove the fan filters if you have the older style or replace them with the updated part number which seems a little expensive for what they are. Newer style "filter" is just a disk with holes in it to keep objects out of the fan. The older style mesh filters used to plug up and overheat the seat fans

Howdy my F150 and EX do the same thing. As said above replace with the newer filter and see if that helps, if not this is what I am getting ready to do. They are a bit pricey but they are all 3D printed to order and according to the folks that have used them they work great.
