For the past couple weeks on and off the explorer will misfire sometimes its slight others its hard. P0305 comes up which is cylinder 5 misfire, i've recently replaced plugs and wires twice. I can't find a true diagram on where cylinder 5 is on the 5.0L, The recent one i looked at was driver side very front.
Pulled wire off plug while it was running i don't see any sparks but you can feel it in the wire. Maybe its just a ****ty wire? I get a blue spark on all the others. I ordered a new injector because it didn't start misfiring until i ran some fuel cleaner through it when we bought it.
I also got a code the other day for EGR valve, which i read can relate to a misfire but it hasn't showed up.
Any input? Best wires to get?
Thanks,
