Another New 2015 Sport Owner

Hello - New 2015 Ford Explorer Sport owner from Halifax, NS. Traded a 2011 Toyota 4Runner Trail for the Explorer. Two very different vehicles. I am giving up a fair bit of off road capability but definitely making that up in ride quality and performance. That being said I did very little off-roading with the 4Runner and most places I did go, the Explorer could handle. Very impressed with the Explorer thus far.

Not my first Explorer as I had a Sport Trac back from 2001 to 2004. Great working vehicle.

I have been lurking on this site for the past few weeks since I have been looking at the Explorers. Have already picked up a few ideas on mods. thanks!

Heya Newbrunny,

I am new to this site as well, and have found it very responsive and helpful. I traded in my old truck to get something newer and to haul family. I got a great deal on a 2014 Explorer Sport and I love it. It was between this or an Enclave. I am glad I picked this.

What made you decide on an Explorer Sport?
