another tranny issue plzzzz help

hey guys i have the 5.0 with an auto tranny it runs great and all but when shifting from first to second it really slams you and i cant figure out why it happens every time hot or cold but on from first to second all other gears are perfect there no issues with accelaration in other gears. if i really jump on it off the line it will chirp the tires and send the truck smoking down the road. any help would be greatly appreciated

Is your OD light working? If so, is it flashing at you?

yes it works fine and does not blink everything seems to be normal except from the initial shift from 1st to 2nd
