I want to go from a power antenna to a non powered one. I was wondering if the antenna cable from the power one will plug into the base of the non power one?

Or if I have to swap in the non power cable.....

Did this last summer. Only need the antenna and its mounting base.
The cable will plug right in to the fixed antenna base. The hardest part
is getting the old power unit out. Have to remove inner fender liner.

Why do you want to replace it? If it's not broken, but just doesn't go up/down, pull it up and leave it there. Good luck.

Mast is broken and I don't want to fix. I just want a regular Antenna so I don't have to hear the antenna motor running trying to retract the mast.

Does it just pull out like it does on the back of the radio?

i got a new power mast at antennamastsrus.com for like 20 bucks

Yes, it does. Might be a pain, but just twist and pull till it cooperates.

I just don't want to break it. I done broke something else on my parts car and had to go buy another. I do not want to make the same mistake again.

Antenna cable and power wires are separate. Antenna cable just pulls out and will plug into new antenna. Good luck.
