Is this the stock PAS / Ford Antitheft or an aftermarket alarm?

Can you be more specific about "alarm going crazy"

Initially, my ideas are that of a failing battery / or bad connection or both
Check the battery cables at the clamp as well as the other ends. Jiggling them around may reveal a corroded termination/connection point

is it immediate, or after 30 seconds or so? if its after 30 seconds, on of your doors may not be closing all the way or the sensor is not tripping. when you lock your doors, press the lock button on the fob twice, if it honks once, all doors are closed, if it honks twice, there is a door ajar or a bad sensor.

if it honks once, and still sets off the alarm, you may have an intermittent short, or something else in the system could be bad.
