This past weekend I replaced the UCA and lower ball joint after lifting with TT and shackles and taking it to Sears twice. The first time telling me the upper ball joint was bad, after replacing it and going back they told me the lower ball joint was bad too. (This was all on the drivers side) I noticed prior doing the LBJ the tire did lean and it does not as much now, but it still leans in towards the top. Note: I have not taken it back yet to get it realigned. I was wondering if there is anything else I should do before I go back for a 3rd time to see if they can align it. The closest alignment shop when I get back from work is 30 minutes away because I get home so late from work.

All input is greatly appreciated, I just want to know what else to check before I take it back in and commit another day to this. I have checked the tie rod end and it seems sturdy, for the record.

buy some cam adjusters. that will also solve the lean that you see on the tires

Can I pick up a set at Advance? Also would it be worth it to buy 2 sets so that I have one for the passenger and one for the driver?

I am not sure if advance sells but probably rock auto or just find a alignment shop that sells parts too and they should have them...

I found these online:

Along with the How To instructions. I guess my second question is what makes these different from the stock components? Are they more adjustable, or do the stock components not adjust at all?

I got mine at Napa for 30 and some change for each.

I like the ones from Rock Auto, but I may try to adjust the stock ones for the time being and swap them out a little down the road. Main reason being that I have spent a lot more on my vehicle this past week than I expected to.

You will need these. Now is the time, or you will be buying a set of tires soon. The stock adjusters will not allow enough movement for the TT lift. Excessive positive camber could also be a trick to drive around corners and may even be unsafe.

Noted and ordered. I appreciate the help, but I thought that the TT would help straighten it out by adding some positive camber since the top leans towards the engine and the bottom away from the engine.

You can't discern a couple of degrees by eye though, and a TT can't really be used to align since the bolts can be set to different individual heights.

I do not have a picture, but I can upload one later. It is noticeable at least I think so. I will try to adjust the current cambers until the new set arrives, thankfully it is not my turn to drive to work this week.

Yeah, I have replaced both ball joints and I'm looking for suggestions. The Camber adjusters are on their way, I am not sure what else needs to be replaced or can be adjusted.

I will try to adjust camber tonight. If I turn them toward the motor they will induce positive camber correct? Also they must be tight and not loose, because if they are loose they will not do anything right? Finally, are there any suggestions on how to work in the small space because of the way the frame is it doesn't allow much movement.

I would either put them on and get it aligned, or take them to the alignment shop and have them put them in prior to doing the alignment. The issue is that you can get it where it "looks good" but may still be 2 degrees off, and it will still chew up your tires...
