Ronin this is what I am concerned about:

I'm probably going to keep my truck stock with 265/75/16's. For my mod, I think I will go with a full brush guard and sell my bull bar.
In addition I need new spark Plugs and probably need a brake job this month.

I know you have a lot of good reasons for them, but I think I will get the uniball upper A-arms before I consider a lift.

Fair enough Nate Though I do wonder....with as hard as zpaperboyz wheeled his truck he might have broken some stuff anyway even in stock form. I do think some of his problems (especially balljoints) were as a result of the strut spacer lift.

I take it you are not big on the body lift option? It seems like the only way to get clearance for larger tires without altering the suspension in some way...and it is inexpensive. That might be a good compromise between ground clearance (from the larger tires) and durability for your purposes.
