It's about time for a Tahuya run. That's by Belfair (Hood Canal).

Most of the trails at upper elevations are snowed in now.

There are several folks around, Onalaksa, Tenino, Tacoma, Renton, Newcastle, etc.

I'll post up when I hear anything.

Sounds good thanks

I'm starting to hear noise from 'The Usual Suspects' about Tahuya next weekend but I still have a lot to do to my rig before then.

Tahuya is a great place for a stock or nearly stock rig.

i have a stock 91 in tacoma area as well (+manual locking hubs, lights, other tweaks). im interested in trying some places that are more suitable for what i have. what are the details?

If you google Tahuya, you'll probably see a lot, including videos. Don't let the videos scare you, no one videos the tame stuff.

And you don't have to end up like this :rolleyes:

I do recommend a couple of sturdy pull points though, just in case you have a hard time with a wet root.

On

I do believe we will be going to Tahuya this Saturday.

Probably meet up at the Belfair Safeway around 9:00 or so.

If the meet time changes, I'll post up.

I here the Quadrapaws have done a lot more work out there, should be interesting.

Get them tow hooks on.

9:30 gas & groceries

Head to the trials no later then 10:00am :thumbsup:

:roll::thumbdwn:

Planning on bringing the grill - - not sure if you guys are planning to stop for a lunch break or just eat on the run while on the trail. . .

If you're bringing a grill, I'll get some hotdogs/brats n buns at Safeway or maybe I'll mix up a couple mountain burger patties.

So far it sounds like;
