to california state if so what did you have to go through? the last guy or mechanic worked on my car says all i have to do is get my explorer smogged and go to the dmv and register it. i think theres more you have to do to register it.

Best thing to do is look up Ca. dept. of motor vehicles.they have a list of things you have to check before registering a vehicle.

At the DMV you might need to do a Vin number check. They just make sure the number on the car matches the paperwork.

thanks i called dmv they said i gotta fill out 3 forms, take it to go get it smogged and have the dmv verify the vin#. hope its not gonna be expensive to get it all transfered to ca.
