hey all,
my buddy just purchased a super clean 1995 f150 4wd with the 5.0. the body is straight, interior is super clean and it rides pretty nice for such an old truck, but it has one problem:
if you drive it on the freeway for more than an hour or so, the CEL will turn on and off. it will just glow for a few seconds and then it will shut off. sometimes when this happens, the light will shut off, and when you slow down to a stop or near stop, and have to accelerate again it takes at least a second for the rpms to get going. you will just gas it and nothing will happen for a second or two and then boom! it kicks in again. ive seen it happen a few times and was wondering if this is a common problem with these trucks and if there is some place we should start our investigation.
