I am going to put a dash mounted indicator light hooked up to the brown wire so I can see what the 4wd auto is doing. I know the GEM sends varying voltage to the T-case clutch during normal driving so I'm gonna use a zener diode so it only lights up when the t-case locks.
Full duty cycle would be over 12Vdc but does the transfer case engage at a lower voltage?
if I used a 10v diode would I get false readings?
