I had to take the cargo area of my '94 apart to repair a leaking window, dry out a damp carpet, replace the pad, etc. Really can't recall where this little screw came from. It's head is just 7/32.

Those bolts are used all over the truck... head should be 5/16 actually

I'm pretty sure those are 8mm....
Anyways they're used everywhere. Having said that, you shouldn't have removed one to fix a leaky cargo window. What all did you remove?

5/16, 8mm, pretty much the same :)

Did you remove it from the liftgate?

Probably an extra screw from when they built it. Used to find all kinds of extra parts when installing car phones years ago.

Could be, as I took it apart a bit to replace the weather seal.

It's definitely from the back. I had to take off all the side panels, carpet, that big, hinged panel that the front of of the carpet hooks onto. I had to do all that to clean up rust and repaint, since the window had been leaking for years.

I'll take a look at the liftgate. Here I thought I was being so organized throughout this project.

Lift gate is the only place I can think of seeing those outta what you removed.

If you can't find its spot, I say no big deal. Long as everything works fine.

I had all my rear carpet & panels out not too long ago..I didn't see that bolt...must be from the hatch.
