I live in Effingham IL about 190 miles from the company that I am interviewing with in Indy. My wife is from Bloomington IN and every job I have taken over the last ten years has moved us farther west. Well I have a job I do not really like and my landlord put the house up for sale. I decided to start looking at jobs back in Indiana so I could move my wife closer to home (a much bigger deal than it used to be now that we have a little girl).
I was asked by a company in Indy to interview last Friday and am supposed to go for a second interview this week. This is a great job opportunity and would hate to pass it up. The job would require me to fly around the country for three or four days a week and work in Indy one or two days a week. Except for the first few weeks while I am in training then I would be in Indy for 5 days a week.
The problem is that I am not ready to move to Indy and trying to commute every day, (even the 75 miles to in-laws house in Bloomington) would be expensive. I am wondering if any one has a spare room or couch that a fellow explorer enthusiast could use (cheap). I would need a place to stay Monday thru Thursday for a few weeks and one or two nights a week for a few months. I will always go home Friday night. I know this is a lot to ask but I dont know what else to do.
