I've rebuild my AODE transmission ( with great help of 4R70W rebuild diary), and now got small problem with it.
Before rebuilding the transmission got some weeknesses ;] :
problems with shifting to 2 when accelerating;
problems with reverse ;
and when I drove it with constant speed on OD, it was "shifting" to neutral. I had to swith OD off.
I've done rebuild, changed all stells and cluthes (some were damadged), the drum lugs were in wrong place (they damadged the pump a bit), thurst washer was damadged etc. Broken parts was replaced.
But I still got problem with 3 gear. When accelerating hard, it shifts from 1 to
2, then it holds the 2 gear longer and 'shifts to neutral " I have to stop accelerating, then it puts 3-rd gear. It sometimes occurs in normal driving.
What could be wrong? I didn't replace any springs/ pistons.
