looking to replace the old factory speakers with some new ones but was wondering if anyone knew if the infinity reference 6832cf were any good(they are at a pretty good price)

was planning on replacing the fronts and getting a single 10 sub, already have an older mtx thunder 4244 rated @58wor 86w/4 to run the fronts and a sub(as the guy a the local car audio shop tole me that with the sub i'd never hear the rear speakers driving anyway) not looking to do anything crazy, just want a cheap entry level system.

My buddy has those- they're not bad at all. They sound a lot better than, for instance, the entry level Pioneers with foam surrounds.

Infinity speakers are good. Some say they have harsh highs, but I never thought that.

In my Paseo, I run Infinity Kappa components up front, and Infinity Kappa coaxials in the back. The only "problem" I see with them is that they do not have huge bass output, but for me, that is what a subwoofer is for...

I had Kappas eons ago. They were a fantastic speaker.

I've heard good things about infinity, I'm running Polk speakers in my 95 and they sound pretty good but I think they are a bit pricey.

I've always had good experiences with the Infinity reference speakers, especially for the money.
