ArgSo some stupi . New drivers side door.

So some stupid idiot backed into my baby today with his trailer.

*right into my drivers side door*

literally moved my car 1 ft. sideways in the process. :roll:

I'm not so much happy right now.

And he seemed drunk with *EXPIRED* insurance.

Not what I needed.

Anyone got an estimate on a replacement drivers side door for a 91 xlt because the body damage is extensive, and I'm not sure if it can be fixed.

Just a guess a door shell OEM might run about 500

The labor would be about the same.
So about a grand. Give or take.

I have a drivers door from my `91 that I am parting out.

$35 for the door, plus shipping it across the state....still won't be NEARLY as expensive. But it will also be a bolt-on. Only Paint would be needed.

Look in your phone book for Auto Salvage Yards. Call your nearest one & tell them you need the drivers door. they'll ask for for specifics (PW, PL, etc) & tell them the COLOR of your vehicle. There may be one out there in that color, saves the expensive cost of painting.
