Current assignment is a local refinery.

0600-1630 Hrs + On Call if stuff goes down.

Lot of the other guys I work with are still out on the pipeline.

Since I'm from Louisiana I got dropped from the Outage list at Comanche Peak Nuclear.

Texas Folks just don't like us Coonasses right now...

I'm considered essential since my job relates to food. Regular schedule.

I do get an additional $100 per week hazard pay at this time. Since sales for the last few weeks have been out of control, my paychecks will be larger than usual.

Still working from home. Gotten used to it. I don't know if I'd like to go back to work at my office. Working from home has given me more opportunity to spend more time with my family.

I've been working the entire pandemic long. I do I.T. for a huge medical company with presense in the area so technically a part of the essential group. Can't work from home anyway, we've been upgraded and expanding like mad for the past couple years but most of the work I do is autonomous anyway so no contact even though on-site.

That's good to hear. Good thing I'm already vaccinated. Also, our company requires their employees to get vaccinated in preparation for our office return.
