Auto Dim Rear View Mirror

I would like to install the auto dim rear view mirror in my 98 I know the mirror controls the auto headlights also but im mainly interested in the mirror part of it. Does anyone know if my vechicle is already wired so that i can just plug the mirror in and if so where would i find the wiring. If not any sugesstions on how to wire it up. Thanks

From my experiances...no optional addition like that is "plug and play" You would have to wire it up. SOmeone who knows more about this can shed some light on it. I have the auto mirror and love it.

you have an overhead console with direction on it? thats a 12v power source..... if you were to install the mirror... you could wire it into there.

Installed one in my 97 Sport. Not a Plug-n-Play hook-up. I just tied into the +12 feed for my overhead comp/temp unit. Hardest part was locking the new mirror completely onto the windshield without busting anything.
