Auto-dimming mirror loose

Anybody have this problem? What was the fix? The factory mirror in my '96 Limited (it is the auto-dimming with auto headlamps and delay, etc) shakes like crazy all the time, even on relatively smooth surfaces. Not quite sure how to fix it.

I just took mine off (it slides up off the windsheild mount) then shoved it back on with a lot of force LOL to push it down farther so its more snug...

I'll try that. Does your XLT have the auto-mirror?

Yea its got the auto dim buttons, auto headlamp buttons, and the slider thingy lol

Mine would shake like crazy, just idling, til I did what I said above
