Auto leveling

My auto level on my '99 seems to have quit working. The light came on a couple of weeks ago and then went off, but the compressor has not come on in weeks and the rear in definately a little low. Does anybody have any ideas or any way to eliminate the air ride and go with something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well from what ive heard you can just ypass everything by buying regula shocks. there is a switch in the rear of the vehicle where the jack storage is, where you can turn the compressor on and off.try that..but if not you cna jsut turn the switch off the compressor and buy new shocks.
