i have a 2000 xlt and i try and keep a stock look to it. i want to add my PDA into the stero system as my MP3 player. my current configuration is a stock radio/cd/tape head unit with the factory CD changer in the center consol. i want to add a aux input to my existing system without loosing the cd changer. here are a few of the aux input devices i have found. could someone please help figure out which one will do what i want? thanks for the input.

i would run the peripheral unit, i have dealt with some of their products in my buddys dakota and they worked great, plus the fact that u would have extra connections for future connections is a major plus if u decide to add anything else later.

Just make certain that the unit you buy allows you to keep the CD changer hooked up. Most of them don't allow you to use both. The PIE unit you have listed does work with both.
