AWD or Not?

Ok I am confused do I have AWD or not? The switch has Auto/4HI/4LO what exactly is this?

you have control-trac. When you are in auto its 2wd until the rear wheels slip then the fronts kick in. 4wd and 4wl are self explanitory

It's Auto 4wd, not AWD. AWD always has both axles, your front axle only engages when the rear slips.

so I should have no problem putting one of AussieLockers up front?

You should do the "brown wire" 2wd mod. This gives you 2wh, auto, 4wh, and 4wl. You don't want to be on pavement with an autolocker with an engaged front end.

Hey has anyone out there bought one of these lockers for the the 2000 yet, i don't seem to have very good luck with there customer service.

Aussie locker is not available yet. I think by the end of the month the front should be and by the end of november the rear should be.
