Noisy front end while turning right? Replaced hubs control arms all ball joints tie rod ends swagger links.
My passenger side axle boot has a hole in it and the grease made a mess when it came out!!! How can you check the axles?
If I pull them out and have them in my hand, how to tell if they are worn? Might just replace both with advanced auto parts codes online I can get both for about $105.00
Should I just swap both since it would cost $20.00 for a new boot or $50.00 for complete axle.
254000 miles on my mountaineer.
Just changed transfer case fluid 1/2 quart came out 1.5 went in. The front and back come soon .
So how can one check the CV axle if I take them out?
